May 28th Meeting - Low Light Photography
Posted on: 04-29-2009
In this program I will be offering tips, techniques and information on how to capture images in low light situations. How many time have you attended a concert, play or event where your child or grandchild is performing and flash photography is not allowed. How about that basketball game or other event. Or perhaps as in this photo you are traveling and visiting museums or churches where tripods & flashes are not allowed. We will explore the many options to capturing photos in these low light situations.

HDR is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. This is a complex definition of a very easy to do procedure producing exceptional final results. More simply multiple exposures of the same image taken with different exposures are merged into a single final image.
