May 28th Meeting - Low Light Photography

In this program I will be offering tips, techniques and information on how to capture images in low light situations. How many time have you attended a concert, play or event where your child or grandchild is performing and flash photography is not allowed. How about that basketball game or other event. Or perhaps as in this photo you are traveling and visiting museums or churches where tripods & flashes are not allowed. We will explore the many options to capturing photos in these low light situations.

Lepp Seminar Registration Closed

HDR is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. This is a complex definition of a very easy to do procedure producing exceptional final results. More simply multiple exposures of the same image taken with different exposures are merged into a single final image.
St Augustine Alligator Farm Bus Trip

On Saturday, May 16th we will leave Vero Beach promptly at 10:00 a.m. and return at 10:00 p.m. from the rear parking lot behind Cracker Barrel. The cost for the bus trip is $49.00 which must be paid in advance. Additional cost to include entry fee to the Alligator Farm and meal expenses. Plan to bring a lunch to be eaten on the bus. April 30th Lepp Seminar

On Thursday, April 30th Hal Schmidt of Lepp Institute of Digital Imaging will be presenting a special seminar on High Dynamic Range, (HDR). HDR is a technique of combining several differently exposed images to produce a single HDR image. HDR is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. This is a complex definition of a very easy to do procedure producing exceptional final results. More simply multiple exposures of the same image taken with different exposures are merged into a single final image.
“Bull” was Hals call sign as an F-18 Hornet pilot. Hal recently separated from the U.S. Navy after fourteen years as an FA-18 pilot. This two-time TOPGUN instructor also operates his own winery and is considered to be one of the top Photoshop instructors in the country. Additional information can be found on the event flyer here.
